“What can I say? I was a kid at the time. I didn’t know how damaged the tree was. I just wanted to see the birds nest at the top.” Molly laughed with John, reaching out to pick up her glass. “It is good, isn’t it? I found it not long after I started uni here… And I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to do something so stupid when I was younger. You would have got up to all sorts as well.”
