“It’s great. I needed a night out. I appreciate this, Molls.” John said brightly, leaning back in his chair a moment. When his own childhood was brought into question, he laughed again, wiping his eye. “Well with a sister like mine, it was hard not to get into trouble. She convinced me when I was four that if I jumped out of three in our back yard with an umbrella, I would float to the ground. Thank god, dad had seen me.”

“It’s alright. It’s good to have a night out every now and then. I’m always at a single table when I come here,” Molly admitted, her eyes flicking to the table she was normally sat at when she came here. The small smile on her face did not fade though as she looked back to John a moment later. Another laugh left her as he told her the story, shaking her head slightly. It seemed all children had such a fascination with trees. “At least you got off easier than me. I broke my leg that day. They didn’t even know what had happened until I didn’t come in when they called me for dinner… I didn’t think to yell I just laid there in shock and pain. Not the best decision I have made”
