Sherlock spun her around the room, smiling widely whenever she fumbled over her feet. He was carefree for the first time in a long time. The case forgotten; his mind completely devoted to twirling his pathologist across their invisible dance floor. He gave her a small almost sad smile. “Dancing is a passion of mine. I simply am never able to use it,” he answered before letting go of her hands. He cleared his throat. “I should um.. probably get back to work.”
For a few minutes, everything and everyone was carefree in the morgue of St Bart’s, smiles and small laughs filling room instead of the feeling of the dead. All too soon for Molly it was over though and Sherlock had released her hands, leaving her to feel much more lonely than she had a minute before. “You… You don’t have to. We can keep on dancing if you’d like.” A small smile graced her face once more, her small hand holding out toward his own larger one. “We do have the space and music for it…”

Sherlock rushed into Molly’s flat seeing as how he had a case and needed her help. He needed to access the morgue. Surely he could just break into Barts but that wasn’t exactly what he wanted to do. So he began to wander through the small flat looking for her only to be shocked by her undressing in her bedroom.
”Molly — oh god. I’m so sorry!” he exclaimed as he turned around. “I apologize.”
It was a normal evening for Molly, one where she had wound down from her long day at work over a glass of wine with Toby and was now getting ready for bed. Living alone reaped it rewards and one of those was not having to close doors, hence why her bedroom door was still wide open as she made to change into her pyjamas.
Turning around in shock as she heard a voice behind her, Molly’s eyes widened when she saw Sherlock also turning around to face away from her. “Sherlock! What are you doing here! How did you get in?”
Diving for her dressing gown, Molly pulled it on quickly before she turned back towards him. “You can turn back around now.”
